It is with mixed emotions that I inform you of my decision to accept a full-time position as a hospitalist with Family Care Network (FCN).  On Tuesday, May 31, Stockburger Family Medicine closed its doors, and I began a full-time, hospital-based practice.

It has been a privilege to serve as your physician. You have been an important part of my life, and I will miss seeing you. But, this opportunity will give me more time with my family, for which I am grateful, as my girls are growing up quickly.

When you choose another doctor your records will be available to any other FCN clinic. If you choose a doctor outside of FCN my office will be happy to send them a copy of your chart, but I will need your written authorization to do so. Authorizations may be sent to our administrative office at 709 W Orchard Dr., Ste 4, Bellingham, WA 98225.

I am very grateful for your patronage.  We will miss our regular visits with you in the office.  Marie, Jessica, and I will do our best to serve you in our new roles within Family Care Network.

Depending on volume, patients arriving within one hour of closing may be directed to another facility.

Family Care Network doctors currently accept patients covered by the following Medicare Advantage plans: 

• Essence
• Group Health
• Regence BlueShield
• SoundPath Health
  
• Community Health Plans of Washington (only for patients covered by both Medicaid and Medicare).

People who become eligible for Medicare when they turn 65, may sign up at any time during the year when they become eligable.

Dr. Rodney Anderson joined Family Health Associates in October, 2009. He is a native of the Pacific Northwest having been raised in Woodinville, WA. He attended Stanford University for his undergraduate degree and received his medical degree from the University of Washington. He then moved to Southern California to complete his Family Medicine residency training at Glendale Adventist Medical Center in Glendale, CA.
