Adult Seasonal Flu Vaccine Information
Due to a shortage of seasonal flu vaccine, we will not be offering flu clinics for adults.
Manufacturers are not going to distribute hundreds of thousands of doses of seasonal flu vaccine because they are working on getting the H1N1 vaccine ready. Due to this event our supply of flu vaccine is much smaller than anticipated resulting in reduced quantities available for distribution. It is unknown if we will receive additional seasonal flu vaccine in the future.
We encourage you to go to a pharmacy to receive your flu shot.
These pharmacies have confirmed that they have vaccine but you should call ahead to confirm availability as well as checking with your insurance for reimbursement.
Regarding flu vaccination for children: At this time we anticipate having sufficient vaccine for all children under age 19.
