PHYSICIAN INFORMATION
Dr. Denis Foster is Board Certified with the American Academy of Family Practicioners (AAFP). When a family physician is board certified, that means three years of training after graduation from medical school, followed by a nationally standardized examination. In order to maintain specialty certification, it is necessary to take and pass a recertification exam every six years, and pass a practice audit. Dr. Foster also supervises and directs our bone density testing done at the Medical Testing Center. Dr. Foster is certified by The International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD), and provides interpretation of DXA scans and VFA (vertebral fracture analysis) studies.
