Bertha H. Safford, MD

Dr. Safford was raised in New Hampshire, graduated from Oberlin College, the University of Washington School of Medicine, and the Maine-Dartmouth Family Practice Residency Program.   In addition to her part-time practice in Ferndale, she is Medical Director of Quality Performance for our group practice, Family Care Network.  

 Dr. Safford was named Washington State Family Physician of the Year in 2003.  She and her husband Dr. John Hruby are the parents of two grown children.  Her favorite pasttimes are hiking, skiing, traveling, and gardening.
