David J. Gavareski, MD
DAVID J. GAVARESKI, MD was born and reared in Western Washington and graduated from Whitman College in Walla Walla. After receiving his MD from the University of Washington, Dr. Gavareski completed the Family Medicine Residency Program in Spokane. Following graduation in 1977, he taught at the residency while in practice as a family physician in Spokane. In 1987 he and his family made the move back to western Washington and joined FHA in Bellingham. His wife Carol currently teaches in the nursing program at BTC, and they have 3 grown children, Mike in Seattle, Lisa in Albuquerque, NM, and Karen in Brooklyn, NY. He enjoys photography, travel, running, hiking and other outdoor activities, and is involved in a number of church and community activities.
