I was born and raised in Ohio. I attended undergraduate school at McGill University in Montreal, Canada where I received a degree in Anatomical Sciences and Cell Biology. In 2000, I received a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences in Physician Assistant studies from Medical College of Ohio in Toledo.
Physician assistants (PAs) are health care professionals licensed to practice medicine with physician supervision. PAs conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventative health care, and in most states (including Washington) can write prescriptions.
I originally joined North Sound Family Medicine in 2002. I left North Sound after I gave birth to twins in 2006. I returned part-time the following year, providing care to our nursing home patients and working at FCN’s After-Hours Urgent Care Center. In January 2012, I partnered with Dr. Anneliese Floyd. I am thrilled to return to NSFM while still enjoying precious time with my young, busy family.
My husband and I have three children, twins born in 2006 and their little brother born in 2010. My family and I enjoy exploring the beautiful region that we call home. I enjoy the rewards of home gardening and baking, and I am also an avid college football fan.
