Evelyn K. Oxenford, ARNP
Evelyn Oxenford received her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington and her graduate degree as Family Nurse Practitioner at Ohio State University. Soon after immigrating to the US from Norway in her teens she adopted the Northwest as her home base - even while living in the Midwest for a long interval. She is thrilled to have come home again to family and friends in beloved Whatcom County.
Evy considers it a great privilege to provide health care as nurse practitioner together with the Family Care Network team. For many years she worked as hospital-based/acute care registered respiratory therapist, a license she still maintains. As nurse practitioner, Evelyn now focuses as much on preventive care as on solving health problems.
