Karen M. Goodman, ARNP, MSN

Born and raised in Southern Illinois, Karen received her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from S. Illinois University. She serves as an officer in the Army Nurse Corp where she traveled extensively through the US and Europe. Karen met her husband, Jim, while they both were stationed in Bremerhaven, Germany in 1979. They currently live in Mt. Vernon with their children, Nick and Natalie, and golden lab, Jasper. Her hobbies include gardening, hiking and reading. She enjoys singing in her church choir, and is renowned in the clinic for making the best cakes.

Karen's scope of practice includes women's health, adolescent health, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Communication with the patient to collaboratively work toward health and vitality is Karen's focus.
