Margaret A. Jacobson, MD

 Doctor Jacobson was born in 1955 in Detroit, Michigan. She received an BA in history in 1977, from Carleton College. She later attended the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico, and eventually received her MD degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. After a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Cincinnati, Doctor Jacobson came west with her husband, Dr. Richard McClenahan. She joined Squalicum Family Medicine in 1990, after the birth of her second son. She and her husband now have 3 boys. In addition to her practice in family medicine, Dr. Jacobson currently serves as medical director for Whatcom Hospice.
