Richard H. Binder, MD

Dr. Binder was born in Toronto, Ontario (Canada). He earned his undergraduate degree in 1991 and completed his family practice residency at the University of Toronto from 1991-1993. He practiced family medicine in Barrie, Ontario and Longview, WA before moving to Bellingham, WA in 2000. He enjoys a wide variety of family medicine from pediatrics to geriatrics. His main emphasis is on preventive medicine including healthy life styles. He has also maintained certification in the ABFP (American Board of Family Practice) and CCFP (Canadian College of Family Physicians), which both require ongoing CME (Continued Medical Education). He is also involved in cardiac stress testing and blood pressure monitoring at the FCN testing center.

He has two sons and enjoys skiing, skating, hiking, gardening, reading, biking, and spending time with his family.
