Stephanie Pattison, LMHC

I am a native Washingtonian who has called Whatcom County home for the last 25 years. I attended Western Washington University and received a bachelor’s degree in psychology. I completed my graduate studies at Antioch University Seattle, where I earned a master’s degree in child and family therapy.

Prior to joining Family Care Network in 2022, I worked for many years in community mental health, where I developed a passion for supporting others in their journey towards improved health and wellness. I believe healthcare is a right, and it has been my honor to be a mental health provider in our community since 2008.

I strive to create an authentic therapeutic connection which includes warmth, loving honesty, and sometimes a little humor. I draw from several modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma informed care, solution focused therapy, mindfulness, and dialectical behavior therapy. My goal is to cultivate a supportive space where patients can feel seen, heard and validated – as well as to provide tangible skills and strategies which can be used immediately to improve wellbeing.

When I’m not seeing patients, I enjoy spending time with my husband, friends, family, and our spirited dachshund, Murphy. Some of my favorite activities are knitting, gardening, home improvement projects, campfires, kayaking, and enjoying the natural beauty of the great Pacific Northwest.

Stephanie Pattison, LMHC serves patients at Ferndale Family Medical Center and Family Health Associates.
