Steven J. Alexander, MD

Steve grew up in Everett, WA. He graduated from Seattle Pacific University, where he met his wife Cheryl. In 1978 he received his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, and then completed his family practice residency at Swedish Hospital in Seattle. Steve began his medical practice in Lynden in 1981, and a year later joined Dana and Bruce at Lynden Family Medicine.

Steve and Cheryl have two children, Scott and Sarah, who are both now young adults. Steve enjoys hiking, camping, biking, and raising llamas. He is active in his church, and has an interest in medical missions. He has worked at a hospital in Kenya, and looks forward to returning there in the future.
