I spent my childhood eating my fill of berries and peaches on my family's farm on Sauvie Island, just outside of Portland, Oregon. I attended Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho, where I received my degree in biology. After going on a medical mission trip, I decided to pursue medicine. I attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon, Oregon. I then had the privilege of completing my residency training at Tacoma Family Medicine in Tacoma, Washington.
Connecting with patients and forming relationships is what brings me the most joy in medicine. Whether I'm listening to patients’ stories and concerns in clinic, delivering their babies, or caring for them in the hospital, I enjoy every opportunity to partner with and compassionately serve my patients. I have a special interest in obstetrics and osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT).
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time adventuring with my husband and dog. We enjoy hiking, paddleboarding, skiing, rock climbing, reading, and being involved with our church.
