I grew up in New England and moved to the Northwest following college to learn to climb mountains. I met my husband, Dr. John Hruby, in Seattle. We married, attended the University of Washington School of Medicine, and completed our family medicine residency at the Maine-Dartmouth Family Practice Residency in Augusta, Maine.
We moved to Ferndale, Washington in 1979 to establish our family practice with Dr. Gary Snyder. We helped create Family Care Network in 1999, where I am Vice President and Medical Director of Quality. I have been active in Washington State Family Physicians and American Academy of Family Physicians, teaching my colleagues methods to improve patient care. I was named Washington State Family Physician of the Year in 2003. I am proud to be part of Family Care Network and am passionate about providing compassionate care to our patients.
When not practicing medicine, I can be found gardening, hiking or skiing in the North Cascades, traveling, or enjoying my family.
