Clinic Location
Jeffrey B. Radakovich, MD
I grew up in a small town in Illinois. After graduating from Knox College I attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. I then completed my family medicine residency at the University of California, Davis in Modesto. After working for a short time in Alaska, I completed a fellowship in sports medicine in Minneapolis, Minn.
I initially practiced in Minneapolis, which included duties as team physician for Hamline University in addition to working with professional and recreational athletes. For 19 years I worked at Washington State University in Pullman as a staff physician and served as team physician for all sports. Within my sports medicine practice I have incorporated the use of ultrasound in the office. This tool can be helpful both to diagnose and to assist in treatment of some injuries.
I believe that anyone who is active is an athlete – young or old, competitive or recreational – and I enjoy helping them all. I strive to work with my patients to reach their goals for an active lifestyle that is meaningful to them.
As a former college athlete, I continue to enjoy staying active by running, cycling, skiing and hiking. Often I enjoy these activities with my wife, Vicki Short, MD who is also a family physician. We also love to travel, especially if our grown children are able to join us.
