Lucia C. Muller, MD

Originally from New York, I grew up in a small community very similar to Mount Vernon. I went to college in Massachusetts (Mount Holyoke) and moved to Washington in 1989. I attended the University of Washington School of Medicine and took my residency in Seattle at Group Health Cooperative.

I joined NCFP in 2003. I strive to partner with my patients to provide optimum care for both acute and long-term issues. I try to motivate my patients through both education and humor and encourage them to take responsibility for maintaining their own health.

I have a particular area of interest in cardiovascular disease. What I love most about my job at NCFP is the camaraderie with my fellow staff and patients.

I love the outdoors and my animals. When I’m not working, I am likely riding my tractor or my horses. I relax by digging in the garden, walking my dog, or reading a good novel.
