I am originally from a small town in the Midwest. I attended the University of Michigan, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. I worked as an acute medical rehabilitation nurse before moving to Washington, where I continued to work in acute inpatient care.
As a member of the Care Management team, I have the chance to make a positive difference in the health of our community. My passion is in helping others succeed in their health goals through encouragement, planning, teaching, and connecting to resources. A mentor shared this quote with me, “I am here to learn, as much as I am here to teach.” I value centering the plan of care on patient goals and appreciate learning all the unique life stories of patients and their families.
When I’m not reading a book or watching college football, you’ll find me outside rock climbing, hiking, camping, and snowshoeing. I also like a good game of Scrabble with family and friends!
