On-Demand Telemedicine

Family Care Network’s On-Demand Telemedicine is a virtual healthcare option for urgent medical concerns. No appointment necessary; patients are seen first come, first served.

On-Demand Telemedicine requires a MyChart patient portal account.

Patients without a MyChart account will be prompted to create one during check-in. Use the “Schedule without a MyChart account” option, then follow the prompts. Or, create an account ahead of time — download the app or go to mychart.fcn.net.

Parent/guardian logging in for a family member or child:

Follow the “Start On-Demand” button and select “Schedule for someone else” to start the visit. You can also start the visit from your own MyChart account and indicate that you are starting the visit for someone else.

Please note: Patients with an on-the-job injury (L&I), motor vehicle accident (MVA), or animal bite must be seen in person. Please visit one of our Urgent Care locations.

  • During open hours, click “Start On-Demand” and follow the prompts to check in. New check-ins end 15 minutes before closing.
  • A MyChart account is required.
    • If you don’t already have a MyChart account, you can create one during check-in. Go to the “Schedule without a MyChart” section, then follow the prompts.
    • To start a visit for a child, use the “Schedule for someone else” option.
    • If you already have a MyChart account, you can select “On-Demand Telemedicine” from the menu to start a visit for yourself or someone else.
  • You will do a pre-call hardware check during check-in. Always ALLOW access to your camera and microphone.
  • IMPORTANT: Do not close or refresh your browser window or allow your mobile device to lock while you are waiting or during check in.

What do I need for my telemedicine visit?

What information should I have ready?

  • Current insurance information
  • Photo ID
  • Credit card for co-pay, if applicable
  • List of current medications/allergies
  • If available, current temperature, blood pressure and oxygen readings

How do I start an on-demand telemedicine visit for a child?

Click the “Start On-Demand” button, then go to the “Schedule without a MyChart” section:

  • To start a visit for a child, use the “Schedule for someone else” option.
  • If you already have a MyChart account, you can log in and select “On-Demand Telemedicine” from the menu, then indicate that you are starting the visit for someone else when prompted. 

I have an on the job injury. Can I use On-Demand Telemedicine?

No. Patients with an L&I claim must be seen in person. Please visit one of our Urgent Care locations.

I was in a motor vehicle accident. Can I use On-Demand Telemedicine?

No. Patients with a motor vehicle accident (MVA) claim must be seen in person. Please visit one of our Urgent Care locations.

I have a scheduled telemedicine appointment. Do I check in here?

No, do not check in here if you have a scheduled telemedicine appointment. Follow the check-in instructions provided by your clinic. Please call your clinic if you need assistance.
