FEMA mobile vaccination unit arrives in Whatcom County

Feb 14, 2022 | News

A mobile vaccination unit from the federal government has arrived in Whatcom County to deliver COVID-19 vaccines.

The FEMA mobile vaccination unit will operate vaccine clinics from 11 am to 6 pm at two regular locations through February:

  • Saturday-Wednesday: Health Education Center at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center, 3333 Squalicum Parkway, Bellingham.
  • Thursday-Friday: Bellingham Technical College’s Settlemyer Hall, 3028 Lindbergh Ave., Bellingham.

All COVID-19 vaccines will be available and will serve ages 5 and up. Booster doses will also be available. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments can also be made.

Family Care Network strongly recommends getting a COVID-19 vaccine — and, when eligible, a booster shot — to reduce the risk of disease from this virus. All available vaccines offer excellent protection from serious illness or hospitalization from COVID, including active variants.

For more information or to schedule an appointment, please contact the Whatcom County Health Department.
