Family Care Network is pleased to welcome Mount Vernon Family Health as our newest primary care location in downtown Mount Vernon.
Previously known as Skagit Family Health Clinic, the clinic owners decided to transition to a new name (voted on by their staff) when they officially joined FCN on June 1. Although their name has changed, they will continue to provide the trusted, comprehensive care the community has come to know and love since they were founded in 2001.
The underlying foundation of the integration of MVFH with FCN is the shared desire to provide high quality, comprehensive, patient-centered care. MVFH offers full spectrum family medicine and places a high priority on strong patient relationships. MVFH will remain an independent, provider-owned practice under the umbrella of Family Care Network.
From a patient’s perspective, there will be some small changes as MVFH transitions billing and communications to FCN. Also, MVFH will begin using FCN’s electronic medical record (Epic) and patient portal (MyChart). Patients will continue to call the same phone number at MVFH for scheduling or assistance.
