Amelia Brush, PA-C

After growing up on the Big Island of Hawaii, I completed my undergraduate studies at Santa Clara University. I then worked as an educator in several different settings, including as a Peace Corps volunteer in Nicaragua and as a naturalist at a YMCA camp, where I met my husband. I later took a job as a scribe at Ferndale Family Medical Center when I decided to pursue a longtime interest in medicine. If you have been a patient here for several years, you may recognize me from my time as a scribe or even as a PA student! I was able to do much of my clinical training with Family Care Network and several specialists in the local area while completing my PA degree through the Yale School of Medicine Physician Assistant Online Program.

I love family medicine for the opportunity it provides to work with and learn alongside patients of all ages. I strive to provide personalized care, taking into account each patient’s individual goals and life experiences. I have a special interest in preventive medicine and pediatrics, particularly after becoming a mother myself.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the outdoors with friends and family, experimenting in the kitchen and garden, and curling up with a good book.
