Andrew Stine-Rowe, MD

I grew up in the small town of Montpelier, Ohio, before moving to Boston, Mass., to attend MIT for a degree in Urban Studies and City Planning. I worked in technology for several years before returning to school for my medical and Master of Public Health degrees at the University of Miami in Florida. Following medical school, I moved to Seattle where I completed my family medicine residency at the University of Washington.

My favorite part about being a family medicine doctor is getting to know my patients. I believe the partnership between the doctor and patient is the most important element for me to be able to help patients be their healthiest selves. The relationships I build with my patients allow me to give them the best care possible. I love that I can be the doctor for the whole family and enjoy the variety family medicine brings in seeing patients from infancy to senior years. I have a particular interest in reproductive health and pregnancy care, as well as care for LGBTQIA individuals and gender affirming care.

My family and I love exploring all that Bellingham and the Pacific Northwest have to offer. Outside of work, you may find me on the various trails in and outside of the city, reading at a coffee shop, visiting parks with my children, attending a community meeting or festival, or watching baseball and hoping the Red Sox have a great season.
