Bill Eiford, PA-C
I am a Bellingham native and have lived here in our beautiful corner of the world almost my entire life. I earned my undergraduate degree at the University of Washington and my Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Idaho State University. I ran a successful local business for more than twenty years before returning to school in my forties to pursue a second career in family medicine.
Having come to study and practice medicine in the middle part of my life, I really appreciate the importance of balance. Personally, I make every effort to find that sweet spot in the middle, whether it be diet, exercise, work, friends and family time, helping others or taking care of myself. I want to be a trusted, reliable partner for my patients in the pursuit of their optimal physical, mental and spiritual health.
I believe we are most content when we are both personally responsible for our health, while at the same time surrounded by a supportive and knowledgeable team to assist us in that process. I feel so fortunate to be a part of a team like that at North Sound Family Medicine.
My wife Gina and I spend a lot of our free time running, hiking or biking with our dog Rosie on the Chuckanut Mountain trails. We are recently adjusting to the empty nest and are attempting to be a valuable (but not too annoying) resource to our daughter and son as they navigate their independence.
