John W. Raduege, MD
After earning an undergraduate degree in chemistry magna cum laude at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., I attended the University of Wisconsin Medical School. I then completed my residency at the Duluth Family Practice Residency Program in Duluth, Minn. I am trained in the full range of family medicine, including obstetrics, and am board-certified. I practiced in Wisconsin from 1998 until I joined North Sound Family Medicine in 2009.
I like to get to know my patients as people. I strongly believe in listening to my patients and in open communication. My philosophy of family practice can be summarized in a quote by Francis Peabody: “The secret of caring for the patient lies in caring for the patient.”
In my free time, I enjoy reading, gardening, singing, playing trombone, baking breads and pastries, tinkering with computers, canoeing and spending time with my family.
