Katherine Mahoney, ARNP

Originally from Seattle, I received a bachelor’s degree in nursing and psychology from the University of Washington in 2014. I subsequently worked as a nurse in an acute care setting for the next nine years. I worked at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle on their medical/surgical oncology unit and as a travel nurse in Utah and Arizona on medical and cardiology units.

I received my master’s degree in nursing through the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Northern Arizona University in 2022.

Working with cancer patients showed me that true health comes from quality primary care. In my practice, I emphasize preventive health screening and management of chronic disease. I take a holistic approach to health. I have a particular passion for women’s health and patient education.

After five sunny years in the desert I am excited to be returning home to the Pacific Northwest. Outside of work I enjoy spending time outdoors. I love mountain biking, skiing, rock climbing, white water rafting, and forest bathing. I also enjoy reading about geology and biology.
