Lindsey Youngquist, MD

I grew up in Juneau, Alaska and on San Juan Island, just across the bay! I studied ecology at Seattle University and attended medical school at University of California, San Diego. I also spent a year in Nepal studying community health. I completed my family medicine residency at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, followed by a two-year fellowship in integrative and holistic medicine. I’ve worked for several years as a primary care doctor in multicultural and underserved community clinics in Seattle.

Being a physician is a calling for me, and I love what I do. This work allows me to weave together my awe at the human body, my dedication to be of service, and my commitment to social justice through health equity. I am double board-certified in family medicine and integrative medicine. I strive to understand and treat the root causes of illness and partner with my patients to achieve long-term health. My practice emphasizes nutrition, movement, lifestyle balance, and emotional wellbeing as important foundations of health. I have additional training in gender-affirming care, ear acupuncture, and addiction medicine. I love that I can be a doctor for a whole family, and I enjoy caring for young children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. It is a great privilege for me to learn from my patients, to offer them guidance, and to be touched by their resilience.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and friends, especially in the beautiful wilderness of the Pacific Northwest. I also enjoy painting, pottery, dancing, singing, and backpacking.
