Lydia LaSalle, ND

Originally from British Columbia, Canada, I pursued a bachelor’s degree in biology before moving to Seattle for a doctorate degree in naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University. I then completed a two year primary care residency through Bastyr University and a community health clinic called HealthPoint. In addition, I had the opportunity to precept and learn from a wide variety of specialists and primary care providers during these years in the greater Seattle area. 

As a naturopathic doctor, my passion is to blend a conventional and integrative approach for whole-person health in the context of primary care. I believe this skill set is particularly important in the quickly changing landscape of medicine. As a patient, it can be challenging to navigate the best and safest options amidst so much available information. It is my belief that patients should be well informed of their diagnostic and evidence-based treatment options in terms of conventional and integrative medicine. Furthermore, patients should feel empowered to choose what best aligns with their values and ultimately, what improves their quality of life. As a naturopathic doctor, I prioritize working with my patients in a compassionate and empathetic way. It is my privilege to partner with individuals and families in their healthcare journey. Areas of particular interest to me include pediatrics, women’s health (from adolescence through post-menopause), metabolic diseases, mental health and general preventive medicine.

I moved to Skagit County in 2018 to be close to the mountains, ocean and my first home, Canada. I feel closely connected to the PNW and in my time away from work I enjoy mountain biking, back-country skiing, paragliding, and exploring the North Cascades.
