Magdalena Hecht

I was born in the Czech Republic and raised in Northern California. I studied cell and molecular biology and environmental studies at Tulane University in Louisiana before attending medical school at Oregon Health and Science University. I completed my family medicine residency at University of Michigan, where I developed a strong foundation in full-spectrum primary care, including pediatrics and non-surgical obstetrics.

As a family medicine doctor, I feel privileged to get to know my patients — not just their health concerns but also their personal stories and strengths. I offer comprehensive primary care and have special interest in women’s health, pediatrics, and mental health. I focus on treating the root cause of illness with nutrition and movement and am passionate about pain control in women’s health procedures.

Outside of the clinic, I love to cook and eat, hike, and cuddle with my dog, Willow. I am thrilled to be a part of the Bellingham community and look forward to building meaningful relationships here.
