Ryan Willis, ARNP

I am a native Washingtonian and have lived in Whatcom County for more than a decade. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and completed my Master of Science degree and family nurse practitioner training at Gonzaga University. I am board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Before joining Family Care Network, I worked as a registered nurse in Bellingham with experience in emergency and critical care.

I believe in delivering compassionate, comprehensive, and patient-centered care that supports the whole person. I strive to create a trusting environment where every patient feels heard and empowered to participate actively in their health journey.

I am committed to promoting wellness, preventing disease, and managing both acute and chronic conditions with the latest evidence-based practices. I view healthcare as a collaborative effort, and I work closely with patients and their families to develop individualized care plans to reflect each person’s unique needs and goals.

Continuity, accessibility, and communication are all central to my approach. I aim to be an advocate for my patients, guiding them through the complexities of the health care system and supporting them to make informed decisions that lead to healthier lives. I enjoy caring for people across all stages of life and have a special interest in diabetes management and hormone therapy.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling the world with my partner, scuba diving, and hiking the many trails in the Pacific Northwest.
