Family Care Network is pleased to welcome Tyler Barreto, MD, to the team at Family Health Associates!
Dr. Barreto was born and raised in Indiana. She completed her undergraduate studies at Grinnell College in Iowa and attended Michigan State University for medical school. She has previously practiced medicine and taught at family medicine residency programs in Texas and Marysville, Washington.
Dr. Barreto comes to Family Health Associates after most recently practicing in rural British Columbia, near her husband’s childhood home.
She loves being a family doctor because of the relationships she gets the opportunity to build with patients — in all ages and at all stages of life. She is also passionate about obstetric care and the value of having a family doctor as a member of the childbirth team.
