Anna Keywood, ARNP

My education in nursing began at Whatcom Community College, where I earned an associate degree in nursing in 2013. Next I attended Western Governors University, earning my bachelor’s in nursing in 2016. I completed my graduate degree with an MSN through a family nurse practitioner program at Simmons University in 2018.

After working as an RN for several years in skilled nursing facilities and primary care, I moved on to practice as an ARNP in primary care. As a family nurse practitioner, I worked in Port Angeles, Wash., where I grew up. There, I had the opportunity to care for patients in the community where I was raised.

In 2020, I moved back to Bellingham with my daughter. My free time is largely spent in the outdoors. I’m an avid runner and have a new passion for mountain biking with my Australian Shepherd. During the winter, I ski at Mt. Baker as often as possible. In addition to providing health care, I am also an adjunct nursing instructor at Whatcom Community College.
