Janelle Schwittay, ARNP

Born, raised, and educated in the Pacific Northwest, I earned my undergraduate nursing degree at the University of Washington’s Bothell campus. I then worked in the hospital setting as a floor nurse, charge nurse, and nurse mentor before taking the next step to further my education. I attended Seattle University to complete my doctorate degree and become a nurse practitioner.

As a certified family nurse practitioner, I provide acute, chronic, and preventive care to people of all ages, from infancy through late adulthood. My clinical interests include reproductive health and preventive medicine. One of the best parts of my job is helping my patients understand the “why” behind medical recommendations, allowing them to make empowered, informed decisions about their health. 

Outside of the clinic, I love spending time with my husband and two young children. I enjoy baking and cooking and have recently ventured into the art of sourdough. I am a dog person through and through. I own a pug and a Weimaraner, but I grew up competing in AKC dog shows and have worked with many different breeds.
