R. Bryn Nolan, MD

Originally from the East Coast, I graduated from Drew University in New Jersey with a degree in biology and a Middle East studies minor. After college, I joined the National Guard and with their assistance, I attended medical school at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School of Rutgers University in New Jersey. I completed my medical training at the Christiana Care Family Medicine Residency Program in Delaware. I still serve as an Army Reserve doctor.

I believe that good primary care can improve the health of communities, families and individuals. I also believe in caring for patients through all stages of life, which is one of the many reasons I enjoy family medicine. I have a particular interest in women’s health and have published two articles on related topics.

I’m excited to make the Mount Vernon area my home with my partner and his son. We planted a great little vegetable garden this year and look forward to growing rhubarb for years to come. I hope that I’ll get some good tips about Pacific Northweset gardening from my patients. I also enjoy cooking, biking, hiking, and I especially enjoy learning new things.
