Our office will be closed on the following dates, so the staff and Doctors may enjoy the holidays with their families.

Thursday, December 24, 2009 – Closing at 12:00 noon
Friday, December 25, 2009 – Closed all day
Thursday, December 31, 2009 – Closing at 3:00 pm
Friday, January 1, 2010 – Closed all day

Our UrgentCare Clinic will be open on Friday, January 1, 2010 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm,
for immediate medical concerns. They are located at 2075 Barkley Blvd., Bellingham, WA.

Ferndale Family Medical Center welcomes Renay Fredette, MD, MSNu

undefinedDr. Renay Fredette joined Family Care Network - Ferndale in November 2009. Dr Fredette graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and trained at St. Elizabeth's Family Medicine Residency Program in Youngstown, OH. She is board certified in Family Medicine with Obstetrics.

Prior to relocating to Bellingham, Dr. Fredette was Clinical Associate Director for Akron General Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program in Akron, OH. She also worked in an urgent care clinic for 4M Emergency Systems.

Dr. Fredette looks forward to developing a relationship with her patients where trust, communication, and compassion are a priority. "I believe that health is not limited to your body, but involves all of you, including your emotional and spiritual health."

Dr. Fredette loves spending time with her young children and husband, gardening, hiking/backpacking, and running. She also likes to dance, bake, paint and support Art4Causes.

H1N1 Vaccine Information

We are now allowed to administer H1N1 vaccine  to all persons over 6 months of age.  Distribution to us has been  increasing slowly, so that we now have vaccine available in our offices.  Contact your physicians office directly to receive the vaccine, or you may take advantage of one of the public vaccination clinics that are being offered by the Whatcom County Health Department.  Happy Holidays to everyone!
