Still waiting on vaccine at FCN

Jan 07, 2021

The providers and staff at FCN are eager to start vaccinating patients, but a bit more patience is required.

Vaccine distribution and supply is still limited and being prioritized for health care workers and long-term care facilities. FCN received one small shipment of Moderna vaccine for our front line employees and providers only, in late December. All FCN locations are enrolled in the state distribution program, but we have not received additional vaccine shipments (as of January 7, 2021). We don't know how much or when FCN will receive COVID-19 vaccine for patients in eligible groups, but we are hopeful that it will arrive soon.

However, our patients can be confident that we will be ready to start vaccinations for eligible groups as soon as we get it. We will provide information on how to make an appointment when vaccine is available. We are not able to pre-schedule appointments or keep waiting lists.

Please check the COVID-19 Vaccine section of our COVID-19 Info page for current vaccine availability, prior to calling your clinic. This page will be updated with current information as it comes in.

To learn more about COVID vaccine in general, we recommend the CDC website, the state Department of Health website, or the COVID-19 Assistance Hotline at 1-800-525-0127.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging time!
