Family Care Network (FCN) expects to submit plans for a building permit in the spring of 2024 for a new primary care clinic in Blaine, on the former Gateway site.
CEO Rodney Anderson, MD, said FCN remains committed to developing the property, which was purchased in June, 2021. Unexpected delays caused by the COVID pandemic and various supply chain problems over the last several years put the project on hold. FCN resumed planning for the clinic earlier this year.
“We are acutely aware of the growing need for primary care in the Blaine community,” he said. “We’re quite excited to get this project moving forward again.”
Once the permit process is complete, FCN will develop a construction timeline with input from their architect and general contractor.
