Our Physicians
We have six M.D.’s in our practice: Harry Herdman, Marcy Hipskind, Margaret Jacobson, Ann Knowles, Richard McClenahan and Matthew Werner. This dedicated group of physicians have been an active part of the local community for many years.
All of our family physicians are “board certified.” This means that each doctor has completed three additional years of training after graduation from medical school, and passed a nationally standardized examination. In order to maintain specialty certification, it is necessary to take and pass a recertification exam every few years, and also pass a practice audit.
Our Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistant
Celest Gotchy and Evelyn Oxenford are Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNP’s) and Marianne McElroy is a Physician Assistant (P.A.). These professionals provide patient care in our office as well. Our doctors, ARNP’s and PA each have unique strengths that they bring to the care team, and we work closely together to try and provide the best medical care available.
